Turkey Turnovers

I love dinner that’s easy and quick to make… my husband and I got to work on these delicious turnovers and had them made and in the oven in 15 minutes.

2 Packages of Croissants (You can obviously use any dough you have, this is what I had in the fridge)
1lb Ground Turkey (Or beef, I used what I had on hand)
1 Small onion
Shredded cheese of your choice (I picked Cheddar)
Sprinkle of Thyme,Oregano & Basil
1 Egg for eggwash

Start off by cooking your meat and onion together and put it aside.

Take your packages of Croissants and spread them out / roll them flat.
Then cut them into four sections

Fill each section in the middle with Meat, then add your spices and top with cheese

Cover with the sides of your pasty and cinch closed. Then brush with your egg wash.

Cook in the oven based on your pastry instructions…usually 15-18 minutes. Make sure they are golden brown and cooked on the bottom.

Take them out… with a side of Hot Sauce and you have yourself a complete meal 🙂
