Crochet Paperclip Bookmark

If you ever need a fast but useful gift, why not rustle up a little crochet motif to attach to a giant paperclip to create a bookmark?

I’d had this little apple motif pinned for ages, and it came in really handy this week as a little teacher thank you. Alternatives to apples, include flowers, butterflies, strawberries – any small motif. You just over stitch around the top of the paperclip. I pressed a piece of felt onto the back to cover the stitches and to reinforce it.

  1. Thanks so much for featuring my pattern! Just stumbled over your cute bookmarks. So cute! Love the flower too. Perhaps you’d like to add it to my Link Party? It’s on my blog every weekend.
    Have a lovely day!
    Best wishes, Annemarie
