Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

I have been writing for this blog for a few months now and I’m loving every minute of it! It is nice to be part of a strong group of women that offer you something different every day. If you wish to see more of what I have to offer check me out over at my blog.

Okay enough of the chatter… now for the good stuff!

If you are like me you are always looking for a late night snack. The problem is that you don’t want to eat something too unhealthy but you want something that will fulfill your craving.

I guarantee you will love these and they will only take a total of 15 minutes.

Start off by preheating your oven to 350F

Ingredients:
2 Tortillas (I used two for the kids, my husband and me)
Cinnamon
Sugar
2 tbls melted butter

Start off by mixing equal parts sugar and cinnamon. I usually make a big batch because we put it on waffles, toast and pancakes. {Why not do a decent batch and try it on them as well!} Sugar

Place your tortillas on a cutting board and brush on one side with butter. Make sure you don’t go easy on the butter… the more you put on the more sugar will stick.

Spoon your Cinnamon/Sugar all over the tortilla {This is really hard isn’t it ;0)}
sugarontortillaCut your tortillas into triangles and place on a baking sheet. These don’t puff up so you can place them close together.

trayPlace your sheet into the oven for 8-10 minutes. They will be piping hot when you take them out so give it a few minutes and then present them to all the people that have gathered around the oven because they smell so good!

I dipped a few of them into Nutella… omg it was life changing! They are equally good on their own as well… our whole plate was finished before the night was over.

ENJOY!!
